Sidumisile (a.k.a. Sdu) Tshabalala is an independent, funny, intelligent and beautiful Zimbabwean

women. I lived with her for three months and we became the best of friends, some would say sisters. She is a very loving person, who cares for the people around her.  This is due to the love and support she was given by her Auntie who raised her since the age of 5. She had a tough start in life, but this has made her the strong person she is today.

Her interests include, reading romantic novels, watching American movies and listening to a wide range of music from American hip hop to British pop to South Afrian soul. She loves to dance, sing and go to church. I learnt a lot from her, not only about her own culture, but about mine too.

She is studying Development Studies at University in Bulawayo and joined Restless Development to gain practical experience of working in developing communities. She would like to see her country empowered and giving young people the opportunities in life they deserve. She aims to travel to the world, see new countries and cultures and for one day, to live in Namibia.
