Major professional and amateur sporting events have been cancelled due to the COVID-19 outbreak. However you can still stay fit, challenge yourself and raise money to help charities to respond to the crisis. Are you ready to run a marathon?
Go see your local landmarks, this could be anything from your local church, castle, park, statue or even post-box. The challenge gives you the opportunity to continue to fundraise for Restless Development and the opportunity to earn an exclusive medal! It is open to everyone, whether you have a place booked in the LLHM 2020 or not. Distances over 5km qualify for the challenge and (if that sounds like a lot) you can run the total distance over multiple runs and multiple days!
You can take part in the Local Landmarks Challenge from today until 3rd May 2020. If you did not already have a place for the London Landmarks Half Marathon, you can now register here for the Local Landmarks Challenge by donating £12 to race organisers, Tommy’s.
Click here to register via the official LLHM website.
