Gloria Nassary is a young Tanzanian leader, 22, working towards promoting the Sustainable development goals; gender equality, education, economic growth and environment. She is currently a researcher at the Youth Think Tank Program with MasterCard Foundation, her research topic is linking women to new industries and careers that most women are not seen or do not pursue especially careers in STEM (Science, Technology Engineering and Mathematics).
She has worked with YUNA, UNC, CYNESA Tanzania, Restless Development and Sahara ventures.
She has organized and participated, and led youth processes in sustainable development, youth empowerment, research and gender at national, regional, and global level including: Restless Development, Youth Think Tank Research Program with MasterCard Foundation; Tanzania International Model United Nations Assembly; Young Leaders Forum; Women Advancing Africa; TED global; Bayreuth Model African Union, Sahara Sparks 2018, KAN Festival (MS-TCDC), International Student Energy Summit.
In 2016, United Nations Tanzania Office awarded her an award of Tanzania SDG champion to appropriate and recognize her role in implementation of SDG in Tanzania.
