Jigyasa Gulati (22) is a graduate student of Conflict Analysis and Peace Building from Nelson Mandela Centre for Peace and Conflict Resolution, Jamia Millia Islamia from Delhi, India. A passionate learner, Jigyasa is currently working as a Research Fellow and engaged with various international non-governmental organizations working in the field of women empowerment and interfaith dialogue in India.
Last year, she was selected for a Peace Fellowship with Youth for Peace International. Under the fellowship, she worked as a Project Associate on a youth-led community-based peacebuilding project aimed at conflict transformation and capacity building through education to children. With her Bachelor’s in Political Science, her areas of interest include peacebuilding and gender equality extending to violent extremism and arms control. Skilled in Conflict Analysis, Conflict Transformation, and Community Engagement, she aspires to work as a Peacebuilder to bring a positive impact on the lives of the people.
